No matter how 'bad' them make it, everyone and their grandma will still be running it a few years from now. Supposedly over 80% of all of Microsoft's OS installs are either through corporate volume licensing contracts, or bundled OEM installs with new computers. they are still going to make insane amounts of cash, no matter how much it blows for everyone involved. Their way or the highway, and in todays world you pretty much HAVE to run MS if you have a business, for the simple sake of interoperability. That said, I forsee a great many people holding on to XP for dear life.
