The entire courseware for the HLA/AoA course is available as a PDF and HTML as well as the purchase book, it's on th site somwhere.
I'll see if I have the old AOA course archived somewhere, its pretty old (the simulator was written in 16bit Delphi 1 :), but I converted it to 32bit Dephi (v3 at the time I think)
The old one would be more usefull as to the question posed above.
