Why doesn't this work?

try using a shl:

kSelected = 0
KClicked = 1
kActive = 0

Print kSelected | kClicked Shl 1 | kActive Shl 2

this will create a unique outcome for each combination.

00000001 SHL 1 = 00000010

it just shifts the bits "1" to the left.
