I was just rebooting my machine once (a Dell Inspiron 6000 w/ ATI graphics, btw), and was making an attempt to install Ubuntu on my notebook as a dual-boot w/ Win XP Pro. However, when I tried entering the default installation interface, a strange flickering came up, and it flashed so quickly, that I couldn't see what I was doing. Do you think that this is a problem with notebook graphics cards, or doesn't ATI support Ubuntu at all? Does this have anything to do with that installation at all?
