Turbo Pascal has got to be one best languages I ever programmed in - actually, it was the first "real" compiler I ever use after my several iterations with BASIC and MS-DOS Qbasic ( they were still teachin that in Computer Science at the time ) . It introduced me to the concept of using functions and programming in modules. Alot of my early ambitious game projects were done in Turbo Pascal....I still remember when everything was about VGA, COMM libraries, and ASM was the coolest thing.
Then I got my hands on Turbo C which I really wasn't too excited about....but managed to do some wonders with it. I wrote an RPG "system" with it...I dont think we used the term "engine" at the time. Then my dad bought me Turbo C++, which at that point turned me off programming completely.....until recently when I attended a University and began re-learning this programming stuff again.
Anyways, I'm actually looking forward to checking this stuff out...
