Yeesh, if Circuit City hasn't stooped to a new low

Yeah, I can walk into an EB Games or GameStop right now, find a $20 disc for the X360 in a retail package that adds the backwards compatibility code into the console's HDD, if MS even goes so low to have a disc that they sell in retail. Having a disc from Microsoft that can do the same thing, it doesn't make sense for a retail store to do all this for the average gamer. Seems like a lawsuit may be in order, Peter Moore could just walk into the CC HQ, and slap that document on their desk. The service should be in a CD-ROM product on a shelf in a bright-green case, not behind a counter with some 20-year-old geek.

In other words, Microsoft should be the one to offer this service, not a retail store, it's their console, and they should be the one to supply the right tools to the owner of the console, and to tell you step by step, how to do it in pictures. IMHO, that may get those big box retailers to discontinue that service.
