now I know this remake question has been asked lots of times but here goes.
Firstly I ought to point out that I was a ***HUGE*** ELITE fan. Yes I did obtain Elite status and finished all the missions. Hell I could even take out a Fer-de-Lance when it was still a single pixel off in the distance. All this on a BBC Model B with 32k of memory, happy days...
Anyhow ELITE was my first love (erm we are talking just computer games here right) and so despite all the shabby, flashy remakes I was thinking that I now have enough skills to do a worthy remake, i.e. no flashy cinematics just good old game play, lets kill those Thargoids.
Now I don't plan a 100% copy of it even call it Elite but let's say the ships would be the same.
Also I plan to be able to land on planets and have some stuff that you have to do there too.
So the question : will Ian Bell and David Brabham sue my arse?
