Weekend does not count. Its 48h workday and you bought on saturday so you start counting on monday morning. (don't know which time zone actually)
But back on topic: Yes check your spam folder, they tend to block such stuff quite often.
If there isn't anything there as well, create an acc on the official boards and send him a PM in case he was not able to mail to you at all (mail relay errors and the like. my previous hoster had such problems with hotmail and other insecure freemail services).
Service is normally quite good so I don't think he is letting you waiting just for fun.
(in case you had to enter some kind of password when buying on shareit: try to download it yourself with your username and that password on giles page under upgrade. Can't say if such a formular field exists, as I've been using Gile[s] since the first "beta" release)
