Intel Chipsets Crash My Game

Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Programming/Intel Chipsets Crash My Game

Perhaps this is just the start of many problems to come and the revenge that so little effort was put into support during the last 3 years?
There's DX10 on the way ... 3 Generations of new hardware have been introduced meanwhile and Blitz3D is still the same.
Without updating it, users will soon run into such troubles day for day.
Every new 3DTool supports DX9, scripted Graphics FX, Shader 2.0 3.0 and lots more ...
Sad, but working with an old unsupported tool we cannot expect that the produced software runs on every new machine and is compatible with all new drivers and all new hardware and all different settings.

Example: Lately some users reported MAVs or that a program did not start at all; Application (made with B3D) that worked since 2003. And finally a user found out, that WinXP refused to accept it for security reasons. After the security settings were changed the program worked as it should. On his machine a message window popped up - on others it didn't.
