'What did You achieve today........'
Well, over the weekend...
Further refined level 11 (out of 16).
The player is in a small but elongated area with high ground at one end and low ground at the other. There is a boss tank that can fire 3 shot salvos at very long range (i.e. from one end to the other of the level). Two shots from him can take out the player (although at long range the boss is not very accurate). The boss can also teleport and likes to switch between the high and the low ground areas (which contains rows of statues and drifiting haze). Alternately he may teleport somewhere near the player. Like directly behind him. The boss is nasty.
Just to add an extra wrinkle, in the middle of the area is a 'crater' containing 'eggs'. These eggs are motion or blast sensitive. If an egg hatches, it releases a little spider virus (facehugger?) which likes to pursue and attach itself to nearby craft, suck energy, drop off and lay another egg. The player can run over the eggs to burst them or shoot the spiders, but things can get out of hand pretty quickly.
Just to add a further wrinkle, a bomber regularly comes over and makes a strike. Obviously this can also cause eggs to hatch.
Anyway, still a few things to do, and then it's on to level 12 (out of 16)
