I made a custom-designed window with maxgui, and custom buttons.
button:
- uses an image
- highlights when hovering and highlights again when its buttonstate is true
- returns events with .source (self) and .extra (nametag)
- buttons can be put in a buttongroup for radiobutton functionality.
- can use an overlay color and change it at any moment
window:
- non-resizable
- can be created on a specific coord, or just centralised
- has a close button
- has a minimize button
- has a keep_on_window button (window can't move off-screen)
- has a menu button to give a popupmenu (but that's all, no normal windowmenu)
- has a dragbar that slowly highlights when hovering on it, and it has a 4x4pixels texture (could do Mac stripes for ex.)
- can use an overlay color and change it at any moment
- has hotkeys for 'close', 'move to 0,0', 'centralise'
- can show a button hint in the dragbar (does so with its own buttons already)
- has built-in mini-texture-generated images for the buttons
It all works event(hook)-based .. create it and off you go.
