First actual "IBM compatible" PC was a 386SX 16MHZ in 1991.
It originally had 1MB RAM. Later I added another 4MB for $220 USD.
I just recently threw this in the garbage as I have been doing a big clean-up. I tried it out one last time, just out of curiosity. It still works.
It had been so many years that I had to search for where to plug in the keyboard. The port was on the side of the case, not the back where I was looking. And you wouldn't believe how big the connector is. Man, those pins are fat! They are about half the thickness of the pins on power supply connectors inside a modern PC.
