Can't remember when, only the price of £1600 which I was still paying for many years later ( tears up credit card )
From Evesham computers in Milton Keynes UK
486 dx2 66 ( pentium was too much )
2 speed CD drive
Diamond Stealth 64 2MB graphics card
4MB RAM ( again 8 mb was too expensive )
Some basic soundblaster card.
Had to take it back immediately, when I switched the resolution to a decent size there were red vertical lines on the display...a great 'sign of things to come' introduction to PC ;)
A friend of mine also bought a PC from there and found it already had several applications installed for free! basically it was a unit someone else had returned lol
