Turrican 1 and 2. They were clearly the best technologically and funwise when they came out on C64 and Amiga. Huge multi-way scrolling levels, cool guns and powerups, level graphics variations, the man could turn into a little spinny thing. Some of the levels you flew a spaceship etc. Oh and they had ace music. They were basically epic. If I ever make anything that good then I'll have achieved my ultimate game goal.
