I've got 64 bit Ubuntu on a spare 20G drive. I still can't get used to it over Windows.
Opera 'looks funny' with crappy non-aliased fonts (in most cases).
BlitzMax IDE doesn't work properly.
You have to much about with a text config file to get 1920x1200 resolution working (only once, fair enough).
I'm not sure if the nvidia drivers are the latest (using the Automatix script).
I just had to reinstall it because part of the automatix script failed (installing the flash-nonfree plugin) which caused it to go into a loop every time I used synaptic.
Installing a LAMP system (on top of the workstation) is harder than it should be.
If I ditch Windows, I'm going to have to go hunting for a really good binary usenet client (after I have paid out for NewsBin). I also paid out for FlashFXP, but fair enough there's a good Gnome FTP client which will serve as a replacement.
Open Office really is not quite as fluid and integrated as some aspects of MS Office.
I could install Wine, but would imagine this uses a fair amount of RAM. I 'only' have 1G.
I can't play F.E.A.R.
