To be honest, I chose BMax above all for the fact that it's cross-platform. Got to get used to the new structure, but I got the hang of it soon.

Some things are better in it, others not. But I guess that's just a personal issue.

IMO, Mark now could not go back to Blitz3d because if he stops the development of Max3D,
he will be blamed by the existing blitzMax users. Existing Blitzmax users may go away.
He must continue to develop Max3D no matter what we say.
If he does not concentrate on Max3D, Max3D could not be released on schedule (December).
So, Max3D may be another great success or failure (as someone call this gambling)
If Max3D is a failure, Mark may go back to Blitz3D.

I think there's some truth in it.
I really miss the cool 3D features of Blitz3D here in Max. But there are worse things.

As for a failure of Max3D.
I'm not really afraid of that.

In short, there is no hope for new features for Blitz3D, even it is the GREAT, EASY language on earth.

That sounds awfully pessimistic.
But I guess it may not be for the time being.
Maybe in the future.
Or maybe Mark is gonna drop both 3D and Plus and goes on with Max. I've the idea that's what's gonna happen sooner or later anyway. After all the original BlitzBasic, which was the start of it all is also dead (because of too much limitiations I believe, and I do think the Max system has many options to expand more easily, but what do I know?)

But I can only speculate.
