But they don't. You're missing the point. A million USD is a significant budget post, because it's likely to be equal or greater too the ammount of money you're paying your developers. 30K is not. And yes, raising a million dollars isn't the challenge. If the Phantom guys can raise 80 million for a console that's faced nothing but ridicule, and a CEO who has 6 or 7 failed ventures on his trackrecord, you can raise 1 million, or even two to make a 'casual' game for the PS3 or whatever.
