The component cables for HD I know of have 5 AV sort of things, the standard one for normal TV viewing have 3 iirc.

As for the setting within GT4 itself, cant recall off the top of my head, sorry.
(will take a look afterwards though if you havent by then, dont have access to my PS2 right now)
