Yeah, it's for sure that you'd better be smart about preordering the Wii, because it'll be just like the X360 at its launch date, selling out in less than a few hours in most cases... You saw how quickly the X360 sold out, and it cost as much as an Alienware PC when you wanted to buy it on eBay. Same thing'll happen with the Wii, you just wait and see, and then some, unless Nintendo learns from Microsoft's mistakes on the launch of the Wii.
I'm definitely waiting on the edge of my seat regarding the official launch date, so I can dart right down to my local game store, and put my name right into their database (just better make sure I leave about 10% of the retail price for the preorder, that's usually standard reservation down payment ($25 USD for the down payment if my math's correct)). Yeah, it'll be a sellout if any. Better preorder a game title with it, too... May preorder Red Steel or Zelda Twilight Princess, maybe both. Should be interesting to see, IMHO.
