I have been testing Vista since last year and it is a nice OS. If people spent some time looking at Vista instead of hating, they might find they actually like it!
As coders, the story of Vista is interesting. The reason Vista was delayed from 2004 is because they went back to their most stable code base, 2003 server and built from there. They made software checking tools to be sure all code was organised, stable and compliant. I wish I could find the original article I read, I think it was in the Wall Street Journal. Any coder would appreciate what they have done behind the scenes.
Beta 2 will be available in a couple of weeks for the public, I suggest people try it out. It installs a no hassle dual boot and the last version will upgrade XP(I haven't tried that feature.)
