I'd love to go back to the days when every game system got called a Nintendo. It was sweet. Even on the Tv people would ask "Can I go on the Nintendo?" even if it was a Megadrive!
*sigh* Now all people know is Playstation. I have no intention of buying a PS3, I don't own a PS2 and i only got a PS1 because it was that or the highly expensive games of the N64. (I'd have preferred the N64 but my parents thought otherwise ;) )
I am also not impressed with the 360, and the standard Xbox didn't interest me much either but that was the last system to make me look at the GFX and go "K-hool!"
I got my Gamecube because it cost me £50 and there were some good games in good genres.
Soul Caliber 2, Mario Sunshine (bit odd, difficult, but I like it), Zelda, Prince of persia... :)
I guess i'm a Ninty Fanboy relly, but I'll grab my wee when it comes out, if it's $200, then i'll buy it at the UK conversion, no problem!
I also got a DS because I wanted to lay my ole fave Super mario 64 whils't on a bus, Nintendogs for my GF (Who now shouts names at her system.) and Tony Hawk i got yesterday which is awesome :D
I bought a PSP however, so I could play MGS. (But what? there's no *REAL!!!!* MGS on PSP yet!) and promptly broke the screen.
Basically, for me, the systems I buy will be at around £100-150 max, and no matter what, I don't need a sony/MS system.
Gotta say though, Xbox live arcade is one thing I might end up getting an X360 for...
