Wii price point discussion

This ties into something I read in Wired today which is very important. There's a new book called The Origin of Wealth by eric D. Beinhocker. His point is that success doesn't lie in creating the best technology or similar strategy and sticking to that same principle but instead by adapting quickly to changes. It's something I've been thinking about quite a bit for myself. Heck it goes way back to Rome burning down when the Emperor was asked what to do and said not what you've been doing. Sony and MS are now following and pushing harder on the same old strategy meanwhile the playing field has been changed. Thus, it's not really a new principle but I found that tidbit relevant to this discussion.
