I agree with Eikon. Besides, new Nintendo consoles have always launched at the 200 USD price range.
As for whose going to buy what, people are going to buy what their friends have. Parents are not going to buy the Wii because it's 200 USD, they're going to buy the console that most of their friends have. Why did you buy a Spectrum? C64? Amiga? Wintel PC? Certainly not because it was the best available.
