If Symantec gets there way, it will be even longer before Vista sees the light of day:

In a lawsuit filed last week, Symantec is asking a Judge to halt the sale of Windows Vista before the OS even hits store shelves. Symantec is accusing Microsoft of using trade secrets they acquired in a license agreement with Veritas. Veritas was acquired by Symantec last year.
Symantec is asking a Judge to block the further development and future sale of Windows Vista along with compensation as well as removal of all intellectual property from any Microsoft Software.
Of course, more than likely this is just a grab to have MS throw enough money at them to make them go away, considering that the need for Symantecs product lines is getting more and more irrelevant thanks to the additional software MS keeps adding to windows.
