DampeS8N: Shame you can't understand my X thing, but I can't type any more. Sorry for the language problem. Nah, don't bother making a trance track in Midi as the point was well made by CS_TBL that it's all in the production (I shoulda used that word earlier) and Midi just ain't going to deliver. That's also why mine doesn't sound top notch as it was very hard to "produce/mix" a piece on an Amiga lol, modules are hard to work with, you have to master all the effects, but even then it's hard work. For what it's worth, I've heard some of CS_TBL's music (classical) and it's very good, totally pro (but it is his job).
CS_TBL: Very informative thanks. I laughed about spending hours getting the clap just right, that's just so true. Then you apply that to all the other drums in the beat and hours have gone by and you haven't even started the bassline yet (or maybe you did it earlier and spent hours on that too, and now just realise it needs changing :-))
MardD: wow you made that, it's very good. All the correct elements - got any more? I like euphoric trance too, I've never thought to describe it like that, but that's what I've been "On" all day today :-)
