I havent used it myself but I have been in the simplylightwave sister site and I was quite impressed.
They have several free tutorials and loads of non-free tutorials. Dont let that put you off though... they are not very expensive and the ones I paid for I was very pleased with. I learnt more from watching someone than I did from books and online 'text' tutorials.
Anyway... just thought Id mention it... even if you just take a look at the freebies.
