It really is common sense. If you're an indie developer in the current climate you're not going to be able to sell your game to a large publisher and reap the rewards. Introversion were something of a Cinderella story, yet the larger publishers and distributors are still refusing to touch them with a barge pole. Thank goodness for Steam.
