Fruity Loops is the bomb! I forgot where I found them, but I have some incredible NES instruments. I think that they are VST?
That's the main problem with FL Studio (Fruity Loops) - there are so many interesting VSTs out there that you end up experimenting forever if you're not careful! NES
But yeah, FL Studio & ModPlug Tracker get my vote.
