If I had a 750GB drive it would hold about 40 films (think about it).

It wouldn't be a catastrophic loss if it dies because, well, it's just some films. I'd probably have a backup of them anyways.

I'm using 1 300GB (Maxtor MaxLine III) drive at the moment and it's just about the right size for the stuff I do. Any more would be a waste.
