Name a cool game made in a game maker, ever?
That's the proof they suck.
I've used a couple, like SEUCK on the Amiga, fun for about an hour, but then you want to do something 'really' simple , tweak summat like being able to fire 2 bullets at once instead of one but then realise the game doesn't allow you to do it.
Gets old fast.
