driver not returning hertz with available graphics modes
Sounds right - I think I remember some program or other letting me select which screen mode I wanted and it had the hertz ratings as zero for each (maybe it was the Darwinia demo).
Actually the fact that it doesn't work in Me is news to me, also this is STILL supported by MS isn't it, so that might shut the 98 dissenters up for a bit.
WinME is Win98 with bells on. I think support stopped when the metafile security issue arose... AFAIK Microsoft patched XP but not ME/98.
