yeah thanks opcode. I like Steve's articles too. Read them about 18 months ago just before I got into this whole thing. He's to blame! grr. ;-) Anyway, yeah I feel a bit better now, dips in motivation are normal I guess, then you can come out of them and feel good again when it all works. I'd fell good if a new version of BlitzMax came out with some graphics and sound bug fixes. Meanwhile it's workaround time!
