If this technology became mandatory in all new TVs, imagine how the price of old used TVs would skyrocket. :-)
Can't understand why they bothered patenting it. If someone implements their technology in a TV set, that TV will simply not sell...and customers who inadvertedly buy it will surely return it as broken.
