OK, just a little survey:
1) Did your video card come with Wait for Vertical Refresh On or Off by default? Or maybe one of those in-between settings that Radeon has like "Off unless app specifies" and "On unless app specifies"?
2) What do you currently have it set at? Off or On?
Basically Off can c0ck up 2D games in Max because it won't be flipping with Vsync so you'll get some vertical tearing in full-screen mode. Of course this is OK for 3D games which is why most of you will have set it to off.
What I'm banking on is that most PCs default to wait for VSync in the drivers and that most causal gamers won't have change it ... fingers crossed.
