Why do real customers want it (StarForce) gone?
Because it breaks Windows, and people don't want to have to install Windows over and over again. Apart from the few (and it is a few, despite what's being said) who have experienced incompatability with their optical drive, there hasn't been a single verified case of it breaking someone's gear.
No-one is claiming it does. It breaks WINDOWS. Particularly anything to do with CD burning software. Pirates do want rid of StarForce because they don't like it.
Really? That's odd. The pirates I know love Starforce like an MCSE loves Microsoft. It's pirate job security. It gives them something to do, and more importantly, something to do that makes them look like the good guys.
