DannyD,
The Recent Changes today listed over 300 changes to BlitzWiki, all of which were spam. I agree with you. It's definitely time to do something about it.
So for now, I've made BlitzWiki read-only. I'm working on reverting all of the spam edits back to the actual content, including all of the "Talk:" pages and everything else. Once all of the spam is gone I can focus on preventing more of it. Based on the rate of spam getting added now, it would have been impossible for any legitimate edits to get through.
I'm also looking at moving BlitzWiki into the wiki that Noel recommended, DokuWiki. I have a version of it installed and configured, and based on what I've seen so far, I think it would be a great alternative to MediaWiki.
(If anyone would like to help remove all of the spam from BlitzWiki, I could use the help. Just send an email to [a mailto:todd@blitzwiki.org]todd@...], and I'll send you the URL and a username and password to login to the writable BlitzWiki.)
Todd
