Anyhoo, my personal recommendation would be to go with a steel casing for a PSP (if there are any steel cases made, just like they do for Pocket PCs). This way, if you do get that screen repaired (unless it's beyond repair, then I dunno what to say), that would be a great investment to protect your investment of the PSP. I'll see what Amazon has to help you out...

Looks like there's only one available of this aluminum one, but it seems like it may be worth trying to buy. At least aluminum should easily protect that screen the second time around.
