Yeah, if only MacBoook Pros wouldn't have been $2K - $3K USD, I'd go for an Intel Duo right now. However, for the budget freak, I'd go for the G4 iBook instead... They're between $1K - $2K USD easy. Even tho the G4 iBook isn't quite as efficient as the Intel MacBook or PowerBook, they're decent enough for the person that can't afford the high-end, latest components. Of course, a G4 is almost like Power PC's version of a Celeron anyway, but hey, you get what you pay for...
