If Blitz3D major updates cost you extra $100, will you pay for it?
No! I have bought B3D twice and I have never used it other than playing with it and trying examples & demos that others post. But my interest is only in 2D ;c)

What DX8/9 features are worth paying another $100 for, anyway?
None, especially when you consider DX8/9 features are outdated and that unlike previous versions, DX10 will not be backwards compatible.

People are finally starting to turn out stuff in B3D that rivals the quality of major commercial releases. We are just starting to see people push B3D to its true potential.
