That's nice that the Revolution's SDK is going to be more affordable than any other next-gen console, too. At least with that, Nintendo may try encouraging some homebrew game titles in the mix, but that may be uncertain. With this day in age of people wanting to get into making console games of their own (because some of the console games these days hardly have a personality at all, and think they can do better, hint-hint). Well, I, for one, would like to try getting into making some homebrew games that I will actually use on the console. If only PS3 would have a Net Yaroze version of the console like the original PSX did, then I'd be floored. Unfortunately, for the original Net Yaroze, I wasn't about to spend 3/4 of $1000 to buy it. Then again, PS2 was backwards compatible to PS1 games, but not too sure if it worked with Net Yaroze versions of PS1, tho. We'll have to watch and see what PS3 allows for. That's a shame that Sony's not selling their PS2 Linux here in the USA, tho. Did the government ban it here, did I miss something from Joe Lieberman or G.W. again?
