OK I phoned Nintendo and the only way I can seem to get things working is to disable my WEP security setting completely. This gives me a new error 52000 that should be pretty easy to solve but is it wise to diable my WEP settings? Not sure why I cannot just overide them in the manual setup mode as I have entered them correctly. Hmm... I`m not sure what to do now.
