I don't think that's very statisticly accurate. See California at #14? Well in California they have this place called Silicon Valley, where some of the smartest, most well paid individuals in the entire US (probably the world) work and live. So the rest of Califonia must be pretty @#!*ing stupid to only average at about 101.
You do realise that the number of really smart people in silicon valley can be counted manually within minutes? The rest are workers, and employees. So I think thats pretty damn accurate don't you?

Well I agree completely. I think you should be allowed to chose what's best for you kids. Whether you want to expose them to Mortal Kombat or F.E.A.R. at age 12 should be your decision, not the goverments.
It should only be your decision if you don't live with everyone else... and hey, if you live on a backwater farm, then no-one is going to stop you.
I actually have a kid, and you don't. That puts me in a position to appreciate guidelines as a helping hand, not as a restriction of freedom.
For as long as you live close enough to others, you have a responsibility to behave approporitely and that includes how you bring your kids up.
