Thanks so much everyone. I still think I'll do things my noobie way, but now at least I *kind of* understand OO. One last question (hopefully), though:
If everyone "discovers" OO on their own, how do people realize they're all doing OO. If I discovered a way to do things better, I would simply think I've gotten marginally smarter and thank whoever's up there for it. I wouldn't run off and anounce that I've "discovered" something, and that from a vision, I've decided to call it OO!
