Would a real-time 3d adventure require more artwork than a modern fps? I'm not sure it would. Also, adventure games such as Bone (www.telltalegames.com) seem to indicate that professional quality adventure games can still be produced without breaking the bank.
Speaking of Bone, let me throw out another question:
Do you think that releasing adventure games episodically is viable?
I have my own opinion about this but I'd like to hear what others think before I share it.
