I also do a lot of custom collison tests such for magnetism. In theory these ought to be duplicated too per ODE step, but at the moment I'm only applying them once in the first Step and then repeating a couple of Steps on the collisions. Seems okay so far but without extensive testing. I could duplicate the processes but I'm not sure what sort of impact on performance I'd have though.
