That could be simplified so much. Granted rounded corners are more complicated than boxes but you have an awful lot of unneccessary code in there.
How about this for example - http://www.alistapart.com/articles/customcorners/ - it's not the best way, I can see a few things that could be changed but how much nicer is that code than yours?
