Hi EmerGki, I'm working on one at the moment as it happens, I'll make it available as soon as it's complete.
Btw, if anyone needs any help with the FDir1 stuff please let me know, there isn't much info available on FDir1 in the ODE manual.
The 'CarDemo-FrictionDirection1' demo shows the basics of FDir1 using friction 'mu' only, but friction 'mu2' can also be specified separately. If 'mu2' isn't specified then 'mu' will apply to both friction directions (1 and 2).
To use FDir1, you need to set your friction mu (and mu2 if needed). Remember to add the FDir1 flag in dContactSetMode(dContactFDir1+dContactSlip1). Next you specify how much friction should be applied to each axis using the dContactSetFDir1(fdir1x#,fdir1y#,fdir1z#) function.
In the FDir1 car demo fdir1x is the forwards/reverse axis (X), fdir1z is the sideways axis (Z). Lowering the fdir1z value will result in the car sliding sideways more. From the tests I've done with FDir1, it seems that the range for fdir1x, fdir1y and fdir1z is 0.0 to 1.0 (1.0 being 100% friction as set with mu or mu2).
