my bigest reason for having wireless is that I don't like computers, electronics and most of all cables. So the fewer and better disguised the computer junk the better in my case :)
one other reason is that I can move the keyboard without worrying about cables, like when I use my graphics tablet, gorce feedback wheel or joystick, or want to draw on some paper or read a book in my workspace.
