I think it looks great for something done by a few people (9 total), regardless of what they used.
What impresses me more is that it scores an average of 7.1 by people who played it on gamespot.
It doesn't look super fantastic, but it looks much better than most of the finished games I've seen in Blitz3D. So if you neglect their effort out of envy, fine, but maybe it's better to use your energy on doing something to top it.
