What ever happened to CPU improvements?

To be honest, I doubt the army would have any machines worth mentioning. ;)

As for a fast machine, get something like
-two Geforce 7800 ultras in SLI configuration
-Amd athlon 64 3200+
-Two harddrives in Raid 0 configuration
-2gigs Kingston Ram
-Water cooling, of course
-Any expensive Motherboard
-BIG power supply. 400-500 watts?

That should do it.

You'll be able to play every crappy, graphics-driven game
created in the next 10 years.
